Questions
What parents ask us most.
If your question is not here, call the school — someone will answer properly.
Contact the schoolHow do I apply?
Each school has its own online admission form — one for the Early Years & Primary School, one for the Secondary School. Choose yours above, or scan the school’s admission barcode. If you would rather speak to someone first, call and we will take you through it.
Does my child have to sit an examination?
Yes. An entrance examination is conducted after we receive your application. On a successful assessment, your child is admitted.
How young will you take a child?
From three months old, in the creche. Nursery 1 runs from about one year, Kindergarten 1 from three, Basic 1 from six, JSS 1 from eleven and SS 1 from fourteen.
Can my child join the Secondary School?
Yes. Sure Edge Montessori Secondary School runs the full secondary course, Junior Secondary from JSS 1 to JSS 3 and Senior Secondary from SS 1 to SS 3, on the Nigerian national curriculum.
Classes are deliberately small, so places in any given year are limited. Put the class you want on the admission form and we will confirm availability when we contact you.
My child is finding reading difficult. Can you help?
This is one of the main reasons parents come to us. We adjust the work to the child instead of pushing the child through the work, and we have a good record with children who struggle.
Is Sure Edge a Christian school?
Yes. Christian studies are taught from the nursery years, and character formation sits alongside academic work throughout the school.
What are the school fees?
Please call the school for the current fee schedule — 08037466662 or 09045631921.
Can I visit before applying?
Please do. Call ahead so we can arrange a time during the school day, when you can see the classrooms in use.
Ready when you are.
